Pilot Mountain Unites, a non-profit group, is painting Pilot Mountain "pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month! The day will start out with this 5K color run to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
We will only use safe pink powder during the run. You can walk or run and have fun! Feel free to get in the spirit by wearing pink tutus or pink hair and whatever creative BLING you can think of (but not required). All age groups and fitness levels are encouraged to participate!
Stay after the 5K Color Run for a full day at the Armfield Civic Center include free massages for the runners. Other events include a carnival, stage performances such as a fashion show, zumba and line dancing. We will close the night with a concert featuring our very own local musicians Brianna Atwell and The Not. Brothers! Help us bring the community together to fight Breast Cancer! Register by 9/21 to guarantee your event t-shirt and swag bag! During registration, you can choose to create or join a team (non-competitive) to honor survivors or in tribute of loved ones lost.
